Admittedly, Halloween is very much the topic and theme to embrace in class at this time of year, but let’s not forget Bonfire Night.

Remember, remember, the 5th of November – remember, remember, to source relevant Bonfire Night teaching resources! It doesn’t have such a ring to it, but it’s a great opportunity to decorate the classroom and teach the kids about the history of why we celebrate Guy Fawkes Night.

The relevant resources we offer.

We have five Bonfire Night learning packs available to you, these include The Gunpowder Plot, The Gunpowder Plot Word Mat, Glossary of the Gunpowder Plot, The Gunpowder Plot Pictures and our free Guy Fawkes learning resource, The Gunpowder Plot Word Bank.

Although these each come separately in their own packs, they work just as well together!

The Gunpowder Plot Pictures.

This learning pack provides you with five explosive, colourful and informative A4 resources, which can also be used as 10 individual A5 pictures. These can be employed in any way; whether they’re a decorative feature for the classroom, or a learning aid to present to students before explaining certain points or stories about The Gunpowder Plot.

Included in this resource are images of Fireworks, Explosions, Guy Fawkes, Gunpowder, King James I and more.

The Gunpowder Plot.

Included in this pack are images, but they are supported with information based on each picture. It’s an extremely informative learning pack about The Gunpowder Plot, covering the history behind the plot, along with other aspects.

Within the pack are 10 fun and simple resources in landscape A4 format, covering Guy Fawkes, Barrels, King James I, Catholics and more!

Our new Bonfire Night resources.

The two learning packs mentioned above are very popular at this time of year, and this is why we have recently added three more packs. These include the Word Mat, Glossary and Word Bank of The Gunpowder Plot.
